Death is a certainly fatal state that can be inflicted to any character.
Death is toggleable, which means it can be deactivated if you do not wish to see your favorite character die in front of you.
If deactivated, nobody will die.

Summary[edit]
A dead pawn can no longer act, and creates a corpse if its body was not completely destroyed. Dead characters act like sleeping ones, all organs and bionics can be retrieved as if they're alive, and any underwear they were wearing will become soiled and tainted as characters will have an accident in their underwear on death.
Witnessed deaths can cause depression gems to rise. Characters connected by family or relationship will be especially devastated. A character's Religion may change how they feel about various deaths.
It's not always the end for them (or you), but it depends on your input most the time.

- Destruction can happen because of multiple hits on one organ in a lethal fight, or if the weapon can deal enough damage to fully destroy the part, but it can also happen if you kick the stomach of a character multiple times.
- Reaching 0% Consciousness, Blood Filtration, Blood Pumping, Breathing, or Metabolism.
- Reaching 0 blood
- If Stamina hits below their negative maximum while having some fun with a partner, the character will die from overexertion.
- Sometimes, it's just better to let them go to sleep!
- Can happens to them even while being forced into non-consensual sexual relationships.
- Execution at the end of a lethal or Danmaku fight if you subdue them or if they surrender. There is also the possibility to execute a character when being in time stop.
You can also die from these causes, so be cautious.
You have no chance to actually die from a Danmaku battle, as nobody will try to subdue you. Even if you found a way to do so, they will ask for money. But because you have no reason to retreat or accept to be subdued, it shouldn't happen.
Corpses[edit]
When a character dies, their corpse will remain most of the time.
Multiple things can be done with corpses:
- Corpses can be looted. It's essentially the same as pickpocketing someone in time stop.
- You can also hide them in the Graveyard of your home map, reducing the chance for them to be found. The best way is to put then in a coffin and then dump them. It will allow you to grab them at a later date if you wish to resurrect them, or to other stuff...
- You can harvest their organs if those aren't damaged. You can tend their wounds, which make free Medical XP, but doesn't bring them back.
- Bringing them to Rin or Komachi will make you some money, but this will permanently destroy the body, making resurrection impossible.
- If sleep rape is enabled, you can rape it. I don't think you need an explanation for this one.
Resurrection[edit]
In the case your waifu dies, there are multiple ways to resurrect them (as long as you didn't turn on "Permanent death"):
Bringing them to Eirin[edit]
If you bring the corpse to an Eintei member (don't forget to be discreet, or you're gonna be seen as a murderer), they will bring the dead character to Eirin, who will resurrect them. If the character is not liked by them (e.g. Satori, Seija) they will not bring them to Eirin, and will instead spit on them.
Asking Seiga with a financial "donation"[edit]
If the corpse hasn't been disposed of by Aya (by finding it and ending the day), Rin or Komachi, you can ask Seiga to resurrect a dead character. It will not be free however, and if you're not ready to put the fair price, the reanimated character can be a bit... deteriorated.
Using an Elixir[edit]
Once you hit A at Drug Synthesis, you will be able to craft an Elixir. Using it will have a lot of wonderful effects on the char targeted, but if used on a lifeless body, it will bring the char back to life.
Auto-Resurrections[edit]
For characters that aren't supposed to be able to die, like gods, fairies, Hourais, and essential characters such as Nitori, if they end up dying, they will come back the day after their death on the default settings. If you allow everyone to respawn, you will only have to wait a day for everyone to resurrect. On "no respawns" mode, the Elixir, Eirin or Seiga are required to resurrect.
Resurrected characters will have all of their destroyed limbs and organs regrown. If the Elixir is used, their shiny new organs will also get Yagokoro enhancement.
