Death can happen to a character under several conditions, it's not always the end for them (or you), but it depends on your input most the time.

First of all, it's a toggeable content, so it can be deactivated if you do not wish to see your favorite character die in front of you.

If deactivated, nobody will die.

Causes of death

Here will be listed every way possible to die for characters.

- if Stamina hit -500 while having some fun with a partner, the character will die from exhaustion. Sometimes, it's better to let them go to sleep ! Can happens to them even while being forced into non-consensual sexual relationships.

- if blood quantity fall to 0, the character will die.

- the destruction or harvestation of one or a pair of vital organs will causes death, no matter the character. Vital means : both kidneys/both lungs/heart/brain/liver. Destruction can happen because of multiple hit on one organ in a lethal fight, but it can also happen if you kick the stomach of a character multiple time.

- you can execute them at the end of a lethal or danmaku fight if you subdue them or if they throw their weapons on the ground. There is also the possiblity to execute a character when being in time stop.

Your own character can also die from these causes, so be cautious.

Actually you have no chances to actually die from a danmaku battle, because nobody will try to subdue you. Even if you found a way to do so, they will ask for money. But because you have no reason to retreat or accept to be subdued, it shouldn't happen.

Corpses

When a character die, their corpse will remain most of the time.

You can do multiple things with a corpse.

Corpse can be looted. It's essentially the same as pickpocketing someone in time stop.

You can also hide them in the Graveyard of your home map, reducing the chance for them to be found. The better is to put then in a coffin and then dump them. It will allow you to get it at a later date if you wish to resurrect them, or doing other stuff.

You can harvest their organs if those aren't damaged. You can tend their wounds, which make free Medical XP, but doesn't bring them back.

Bringing them to Rin or Komachi will make you some money, but you will never be able to retrieve their body or resurrect them by other means !

If enabled in the fetish settings, you can rape it. I don't think you need explanation for this one.
